What is Serve Day?
Serve Day It is an annual global outreach where churches around the world reach out and serve their community. This year Serve Day will be taking place on 15 July 2023.
Why do we do Serve Day?
- To see lives changed through simple acts of kindness for the glory of God.
- To bring God’s Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
- To start a church revolution through serving.
How will Serve Day work on 15 July?
8:00-8:45: Volunteers can get fresh coffee at Hope Church George. Serve Day shirts will also be sold.
9:00-12:00: Volunteers are at the location they have signed up for, serving within the capacity of the outreach.
12:00: Volunteers can come back to Hope Church George, where they can get free coffee and boerewors rolls will be sold! This is an opportunity to unwind and connect after serving at the locations.
